ChatShift is a Chrome extension that exports your AI conversations locally to your device. By using ChatShift, you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and N90 Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our", "N90 Labs"). They govern your use of the ChatShift Chrome extension and related services (together, "ChatShift" or the "Service").
By installing, accessing, or using ChatShift, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ChatShift is a Chrome browser extension that allows you to export your AI conversation history from services such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. Conversations are downloaded and stored locally on your device. ChatShift does not upload your conversation data to our servers.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ChatShift (or at least 16 years old if you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom). By using the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable minimum age requirement.
To use ChatShift, you must create an account using your email address or Google sign-in. You are responsible for:
ChatShift offers a free tier and a paid tier. The paid tier is available as a one-time purchase processed securely via Stripe.
No refunds: Because ChatShift provides immediate access to digital content upon purchase, we do not offer refunds. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you are requesting immediate access to the paid features and waive any right to a cooling-off period refund to the extent permitted by law.
Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including under UK or EU consumer protection legislation.
You may use ChatShift to export your own AI conversations for personal or commercial purposes in accordance with your subscription tier. You agree that you will not:
ChatShift interacts with third-party AI services including those operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft. ChatShift is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of ChatShift complies with the terms of service of each AI platform you use. We are not responsible for any changes those platforms make that may affect ChatShift's functionality.
Our rights: N90 Labs Ltd owns all intellectual property rights in ChatShift, including its code, design, branding, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described here.
Your rights: You own your conversation data. ChatShift does not claim any ownership of the content you export. Your exported data belongs to you, subject to any rights held by the relevant AI platform.
We aim to keep ChatShift available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may:

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have actually paid to us for ChatShift.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Consumer rights: If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Economic Area, nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless N90 Labs Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
By you: You may stop using ChatShift at any time by uninstalling the extension and, if you wish, by requesting deletion of your account by contacting us.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to ChatShift immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, with prior notice where practicable.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Local data on your device remains under your control. Server-side account data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If you have a dispute or complaint about the Service, please contact us first at support@chatshift.ai. We will try to resolve the matter promptly and informally.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Consumer rights: If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
